Hydrogen Refueling Process: Theory, Modeling, and In-Force Applications

نویسندگان

چکیده

Among the alternative fuels enabling energy transition, hydrogen-based transportation is a sustainable and efficient choice. It finds application both in light-duty heavy-duty mobility. However, hydrogen gas has unique qualities that must be taken into account when employed such vehicles: high-pressure levels up to 900 bar, storage composite tanks with temperature limit of 85 °C, negative Joule–Thomson coefficient throughout wide range operational parameters. Moreover, perform refueling procedure closer driver’s expectations, fast process requires pre-cooling −40 °C necessary. The purpose this work examine major phenomena occur during by analyzing relevant theory existing modeling methodologies.

Modeling technology diffusion of complementary goods: The case of hydrogen vehicles and refueling infrastructure

Hydrogen has emerged as a possible transportation fuel for addressing long-term, sustainable energy supply, security, and environmental problems. Yet, there are a number of barriers that need to be overcome if hydrogen vehicles are ever to penetrate transportation markets, not the least of which is the development of a vehicle–infrastructure system. Hydrogen vehicles and refueling infrastructur...
